Open Day
Providing an integrated sexual health service - 11am Wednesday 12th February 2014

Targeting the hard to reach social groups associated with sexual health means making services available at times and locations convenient to the patient; thereby making attendance as quick and easy as possible. And it was this ethos which prompted a major shake-up of sexual health services in Staffordshire.

Having made the bold decision to integrate all of its sexual health services into one central community setting, and by doing so create a one stop shop where all sexual health needs can be met, backed up by ongoing prevention advice, Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust then faced the challenges of bringing together services from a range of existing providers, including private organisations coupled with tackling the problem of multiple stand-alone systems, legacy systems and paper-based systems.

Three years on, Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Partnership NHS Trust invite you to attend an open day to showcase the progress of this project. To discuss how the many obstacles have been overcome, to demonstrate the part technology has played in supporting this progress, to share the lessons learned and the benefits realised and to look at the future aims and objectives of this ambitious project.
